Information technology enabled collaboration systems has been widely used in many virtual meetings and digital collaborations. Especially, in the global communication and collaboration context for business purpose. In the globalization era, trust and its development has attracted attention for many IS scholars. In the belt and road initiative, how to improve the trust in the global distributed collaboration has been an important topic. We have used collaboration engineering techniques as an intervention to facilitate collaboration and improve trust for global distributed teams. A mixed approach using design science research and behavioral study has been conducted.
報(bào)告人簡介：
Xusen Cheng is a Professor of Information Systems in Department of Economic Information Management in School of Information at Renmin University of China. He has obtained his PhD in Manchester Business School in the University of Manchester. His research interest includes IT enabled collaboration and virtual teams, sharing economy and digital commerce, information systems behavior and management. His paper has been accepted/published in journals such as MIS Quarterly, Journal of Management Information Systems, European Journal of Information Systems, Tourism Management, Decision Sciences, Information and Management, amongst others. He has served for many journals, such as SE for Information Technology and People, AE for Information Technology for Development, and editorial board/guest editors for many other journals.
