On the afternoon of November 14, 2016, Prof. Zhang Junyi from Hiroshima University of Japan was invited to give a lecture entitled "Population migration and regional development in Japan: A longitudinal and spatially context-dependent". A number of teachers and students from the Energy and Environmental Policy Research Center attended the meeting. The lecture was hosted by Prof. Yu Biying.
Professor Zhang's main research areas include transportation planning and management, urban and regional planning, environmental and energy policy, tourism policy and management.
