May 26, 2016, in the afternoon, Duke University professor Billy Pizer was invited to visit our school and made a presentation entitled "Prices versus Quantities with Policy Updating". A number of teachers and students from the CEEP attended the lecture. Associate Professor Yu BiYing hosted the event.
Professor Billy Pizer is currently a Professor of Public Policy at Duke University and a Fellow of the Institute of Nicholas. He received his PhD in economics from Harvard. The report discussed the impact of policy updating on the uncertainty of prices regulation and intertemporal trading volume comparative advantages.
