May 13, 2016, Beijing Xicheng Cultural Center held its second Paralympic Culture and Art Festival. A total of 12 graduate student volunteers led by teacher Gan Shijiao from Beijing Institute of Technology School of Management and Economics came to Xicheng Cultural Center to assist in organizing activities.
The Xicheng Paralympic Culture and Art Festival is a long-term event, organized for the disabled living in Xicheng District in order to enrich their community cultural life. The opening ceremony attracted many people with disabilities. Volunteers’ work is to help people enter the audience hall, seat the guests, and keep order.
