On the morning of December 6, the appointment ceremony of the part-time professor of the ICAO Executive Director, Dr. James Wan, was held in the main building 345. Professor Wei Yiming, Dean of the School of Management and Economics, Professor Wang Zhaohua, Secretary of the Party Committee, and Prof. Chen Xiang, Assistant Dean of the School attended the meeting. The appointment ceremony was hosted by Vice President Guan Hong.
First of all, Professor Wang Zhaohua gave a brief introduction to Dr. James Wan's experience. On behalf of the School, he welcomed Dr. James Wan's visit.
Professor Wei Yiming presented a part-time professor's letter of appointment for Dr. James Wan. Dr. James Wan said that the appointment is a beginning and a responsibility. He will use his resource advantages and international background to promote ICAO's substantive cooperation with the School in terms of personnel training, scientific research, and personnel exchanges. And actively create opportunities to encourage teachers and students to internships and positions in international organizations, to contribute to the development of the School.
